Andreas Deutschmann
Andreas Deutschmann serves as the Managing Director at Avalon Securities, a boutique financial services firm headquartered in New York City. In this role, he spearheads advisory and capital raising solutions for companies in the energy transition and artificial intelligence sectors. With a wealth of experience, Mr. Deutschmann has led teams in due diligence, investment, and risk management across prestigious roles, including Managing Director at JP Morgan, Vice President at John Hancock, and Manager at Deloitte & Touché.
His expertise encompasses market analysis, credit evaluation, operational efficiency, financial modeling, and cyber security. Throughout his career, Mr. Deutschmann has carried out his responsibilities in diverse locations, including New York City, Chicago, Boston, Luxembourg, Zurich, Vienna, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Mr. Deutschmann holds a BS in Accountancy and a CPA designation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also earned MBA degrees in Finance, Economics, and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
In addition to his professional roles, Mr. Deutschmann is a frequent speaker on topics such as Clean Energy, Sustainable Development, and Venture Capital. Notably, he addressed the UN General Assembly 77th Congress just before New York City Mayor Eric Adams. As an Adjunct Professor of Venture Capital, he contributes to the Executive MBA Program at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
